Abstract The drop in childhood vaccination coverage (VC), including poliomyelitis, has become a health concern. objective was to analyze the temporal trend of three doses polio vaccine first 12 months life between 2011 and 2021, addition mapping Brazil, COVID-19 pandemic period. An ecological study carried out using interrupted time series (STI) techniques spatial analysis, with data from National Immunization Program Information System. VC adjusted by Newey-West variance estimator according federated units Brazilian Deprivation Index. distribution estimated Bayesian models clusters global local Moran index, identifying areas lower regions. There reduction over period all regions, being more pronounced North Northeast regions during Covid-19 pandemic. biggest drops were identified states greater social vulnerability after 2019. shows that risk reintroduction wild virus is imminent challenges need be faced strengthening Health System (SUS).
